Sparring Capital Foundation
Sheltered by the Fondation Agir Contre l’Exclusion, the Sparring Capital Foundation (SCF) aims to support initiatives at the intersection of environmental preservation and social inclusion.
Founded by Sparring Capital and welcoming donors located in the management company’s ecosystem, SCF provides financial support and expertise to projects that stand out for the originality of their approach in the fight against exclusion through projects with a strong environmental dimension.
The selection committee set up is particularly vigilant in ensuring that these two dimensions are taken into account and that the results produced are measured.
The projects supported
The association Ecole des Semeurs trains young people who have difficulty in the traditional school system to be greengrocers. The school is specialized in the sale of fruits and vegetables in short circuit and organic market gardening.
The support of the Sparring Capital Foundation will allow to finalize the installation of the technical platform (farm store, cold room, marketing materials) and to help financially the students, coming from modest families, within the framework of the training (professional clothing, transport, canteen).
API'UP was created in 2012 to carry out an innovative project of global waste management from the selective and customized collection of waste to its recovery by ecoresponsible recycling and industrial upcycling.
With Sparring Capital Foundation's support the association will be able to carry out its technological and design innovation projects in order to create new eco-materials to be integrated in furniture.
Réseau Eco Habitat fights against energy insecurity by accompanying families in difficulty in all stages of renovation of their housing. The association relies on a vast network of volunteers in partnership with Secours Catholique who identify households in need and provide the link of trust as well as social support.
The support of the Sparring Capital Foundation will allow Réseau Eco Habitat to invest in the development of a software solution that will accelerate the setting up and administrative processing of files, this step being necessary to allow the association to change scale.
