Sparring Capital (www.sparringcapital.com) announces the arrival of Johann Le Duigou, as a partner of the Management Company. Aged 43, Johann Le Duigou (INSA Lyon, Essec) was a partner at Nixen which he joined in 2005, after 4 years in strategy consulting (Bain & Company). Johann has been involved in many investment operations (Babeau Seguin, Vulcan Engineering, Vedici…).

Alongside Arnaud Leclercq and Denis Catz, his mission will be to further invest the latest fund managed by Sparring Capital, closed in November 2016, and to prepare the next fundraising.
As a private equity “smidcap” player, Sparring Capital acts as a majority shareholder over French SMEs in capital transmission or capital reorganization operations. The GP invests alongside entrepreneurs and managers wishing to accelerate the growth potential and leadership of their company : clarification of the strategic roadmap, strengthening and structuring of the management team, organization of the managerial transition, improvement of the monitoring tools, financing optimization.

Sparring Capital recently distinguished itself through the acquisition of GSRI (leading player in underground network inspection) and IMX (private postal operator) as well as the sale of Nacc (a buyer of discounted debt portfolios) and CNN MCO (a naval engineering specialist).
